About the TCSA

"We were blessed to find Mr. Reaoch and the TCSA.  I wanted my son to experience a similar nurturing, character-building, and music-crafting experience in the Suzuki violin program as I had enjoyed growing up. Mr. Reaoch is such a seasoned teacher and seems to know just the right way to challenge and extract a student's best. On the other hand, he still has a playful side that the kids really respond to. He uses a favorite superhero or fictional character, movement and dance, to foster a deep love of music.  My son immediately took to performing and the music pervaded his daily life--in fact he had trouble holding off humming during school. At times, the practice and discipline that was expected was difficult for him. He had a period of struggle that Mr. Reaoch helped him navigate beautifully. I have watched him excel in just over 1 year of lessons. We were welcomed into the TCSA family--where the students learn, play, and grow together under the devoted direction of Mr. Reaoch."

"When it comes to violin instructors, I'd say we lucked out when we found Jonathan Reaoch. My family had moved to the Twin Cities and searched for months to find the right teacher. We wanted a teacher who would help our daughters learn discipline, skill and all the habits that would help them be successful in life and violin. Luckily, our neighbor recommended Jonathan, whose skill, dedication to excellence, and engaging instructional methods made a huge impact on the lives of our daughters. No longer would we have to argue with the girls about violin practice as Jonathan helped train them to want to practice and get better at their instruments. I am not certain, but I believe this transferred into our youngest daughter's habits in school. Furthermore, what always impressed us was Jonathan's dedication to teaching and his thoughtful pursuit and reflection to always teach better. He is a scholar of pedagogy. Jonathan Reaoch is the best kept secret in string instruction in the Twin Cities and we highly recommend him."
